GoodBye America!

Monday August 8, 2022 is just a few days away, so slowly I have been saying goodbye to my favorite places and people. It has been such a joy getting to see so many loved ones this month and embrace them one more time before going. As my departure date approaches, I feel both excitement to finally move to Abaco along with great sadness. I will dearly miss my friends and family, but I know God is about to open a whole new world of dear friendships.

This past month I found myself being very intentional. I love my home. I have enjoyed many activities such as: hiking in the Laurel Highlands, white water rafting, biking at Ohiopyle, and even paddle boarding at Quemahoning Dam. I was also able to say farewell to some really dear friends from college by going on a blissful three day camping trip to Maine. Most exciting was being able to head out on a bang by skydiving with my good friend Paige, who’s always down for any extreme adventure. Having friends to share my time with just enhanced how thankful I am for God's beautiful creation and the beauty of my beloved

Pennsylvania before I head out.

On another note our donation drive it finally over. We raised 10 - 12 grand worth of school supplies for students at Agape Christian school. Can I get a Hallelujah ?!!! Thank you to everyone who donated so generously towards students in the Bahamas and their future education. Agape Christian School also extends their deepest thank you’s.

This month has been full of emotional ups and downs. I could use prayer for this transition to the Bahamas and learning the culture. As well as getting back into the word more consistently and staying close to the Lord with all the new challenges ahead. I start my teaching job on August 17th. Please be praying fervently for the month of August and the new world I’m about to step into.

“I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him Your roots will grow down deep into God’s love and keep you strong.” Ephesians 3:16-17
