ABOUT
ME
Passionate About Sharing the Gospel and Educating Children
My name is Emma Boyer and I am a recent graduate from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. I attended college for three years and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in education. I am a part time School Coordinator for Caribbean Youth Network and full time 5th grade teacher at Agape Christian school in the town of Marsh Harbor on the island of Great Abaco in the Bahamas.
On the island I will be working with Carrie and Barrett Hendrickson who are also alumni from Geneva College and worked at Hebron Church in Penn Hills for 18 years in student, worship, and missions ministries. They have been serving in the Bahamas for three year currently pursuing their calling into student Ministry by moving to Abaco and working as Ministry Coordinators for Caribbean Youth Network and Kirk of the Pines church plant. I will be working alongside them in their ministry work by assisting in running youth group activities, Monday night soccer, bible studies and after school tutoring programs I hope to create over the next three years.
Call to Missions
I grew up in the Laurel Highland Mountains and spent most of my life in the ministry of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Somerset, PA. God shaped me into the young woman I am today. I sensed my calling into full time missionary by participating in and serving Crossroads Youth Ministry, Summer Best Two Weeks, Pine Springs, and KingsKidz, all which helped raise and shape my relationship with the Lord. I also grew up with an enthusiasm for horseback riding and was a member of the United States Pony Club for many years competing in Eventing with my best friend Kendra and thoroughbred name Rowan, aka Ro-Bear.

I have a passion for the outdoors and recreational sports, skier, rock climber, and hiker. I love integrating my desires for the outdoors into my teaching and ministry work that allows my students to experience God's great creation. Nothing like a little creation-appreciation that opens the eyes of a child! I am enthusiastic about traveling and getting to meet new people and serving those in need!

During my time at Geneva College I realized I could combine my two callings of missionary work and educating children. Through biblical teaching and learning opportunities I pray that God will work through me to revolutionize young children's lives and help raise the next generation of Christian leaders. That is why I am serving with the CYN and Agape Christian School in The Bahamas in order to reach this goal together and come alongside the mission of cultivating communities around the world to come to know Jesus and help change peoples lives for the better.
